I'll never spot another "Hidden Micky".... |
|
I'll never buy another Disney toy or doll or video or PC game. The biggest supplier of plastic junk and idiotic crap for my kids has just dropped dead in my book.
No Disney, NO MORE! And I mean that.
I promised my kids a trip to the Honk Kong Disneyland, but I'll find something to make it up to them. Cause I just cant see giving the Disney company ANY more of my money.
Its really too bad, I grew up liking Disney, but them days have just ended.
Probably a big blessing in disguise.

 for you.
When you grew up on Disney pixie dust and "the magic" so to speak. My husband and I were talking about it last night. While I'm bummed about it, and horrified by the damage this may have caused--for us in a weird way it's a blessing in disguise. I just wish it didn't come at such a high price (putting lies and rw propaganda out there for the masses).
Hang in there, it will be ok.
Btw, if it's any consolation every now and then you can find second hand videos of Disney properties. The sale of those aren't benefiting the company in any way. If you start to miss it or feel nostalgic, maybe get one of those. I'm keeping my Lion King parade tape--bought it on ebay a year ago, so it didn't benefit the company.
Our other tapes/dvds of films(that were purchased from the company) will be donated to women's shelters and libraries.

3. That's a good idea. And you might drop Disney a line |

and tell them that's the ONLY new disney that's coming into your home.
(sob) Pirates of the Caribbean! I didn't even think of that till just now! (sob) You bastards! It's gonna take me forever to see the third one, now. Jerks!
EDIT: That's exactly how I deal with Alice Cooper, now. Not one more dime of mine will that traitor ever get. Secondhand or (cough) internet fairies only. I deeply regret evey dime of mine he ever received--and that was when I was a wee thing, and minors aren't exactly rolling in cash.

4. OMG--Is Alice on the right? |
|
I'm shocked, if so. I thought I'd heard him say rather liberal things, once upon a time. What's up with Alice?
I feel your pain on Pirates. The first one was like an erotic experience for me--Johnny Depp in his pirate regalia (omg--drooool) lol! We were planning to see the second one after the crowds died down--that would be about now--but that won't be happening after Disney's little stunt.
I don't get a company that's threatened with legal action and proceeds. Are they crazy?
