Saw Tim Russert on CNBC last night with Ms. Schmit from the WP, GREAT! |
|
Ms. Schmit, who is obviously the most informed person on this scandal at the WP said.
"It is a Republican scandal." With the tone of "So far". That basically, no Dems have been implicated.
So all you people saying it is bipartisan can stop repeating untruthful factual statements and start saying this:
"So far, it is a solely Republican scandal."

He repeated the line about the 2/3 of money went to Repubs and 1/3 went to Dems, but then asked that question and that is how she answered it.
He basically said "watch out this november" because the Dems are running on the "Culture of Corruption" theme.
The only thing I saw that he said that was kinda weird was when he called all the Dems that lost their seats (due to corruption he was saying) in 1994 "bums".
But he was saying it in context of the 2006 elections, so I didn't get all that pissed. Plus, I was like in grade school then, so I don't know whether they were "bums" or not anyway.
