"Path to... yawn" ratings must have sucked
Usually Sludge posts overnights for hyped and/or special programming. If this piece of crap had attracted (and held) an audience, the numbers would be up. I'm guessing the ratings were in the toilet.

3. We deserve some credit for
helping to get out the message that this was a giant sack of lies.

And it was a shitty show besides...we'll see what happens tonight. my guess is since it's the kickoff for Dual Mon Night Football...it's not gonna do all that well.

switched to another channel just after the second hour because IT was putting me to sleep. Damn I'm glad I'm NOT a member of the RW.

7. Don't need to check the rating, if you viewed any 10-15 minute segment

last night you would easily conclude (a true no brainer) that the movie SUCKED POND WATER.

Man, I thought the "Out of Africa" acting was nasty and walked out 3/4 of the Movie. But at least it had True Drama and the scenery was beautiful. Path to 9/11 was seemingly one long monotony of dialog and *too close camera face shots.* One could count the number of pores on those middle aged men's faces during the 5-10 minutes the shaky camera focus was frozen at the bridge of their noses. Needless to say, they were not pretty sites, but the only point of focus because the dialogs (lack of credible acting) were a complete monotone SNORE-FEST.

"Path to 9/11" sucked so bad! I fear that the only positive use for this POS Docudrama would be as a substitute for Ambien CR. ;)

8. The Hollywood Reporter
which is a serious industry publication (in spite of a tabloid-sounding name) covers ratings and the general business of television. It is a bit early to see stories about last nights ratings but they may turn up at some point today. Also, since they dropped advertising, ABC says they will not announce the show's ratings but I have to think the number will show up in other ratings because all of broadcast television uses audience and share. Share is a percentage:the number of TV tuned to a channel divided by the number of TVs which were turned on at the time.

9. The program sounded like a bad cut and paste job
I refuse to watch it but I'm glad other DUers have the stomachs to watch it and post about what's going on.

11. Someone reported earlier
That it was like an 8.3, the CBS 9/11 special was like an 8.2, and the NFL game was around a 15. Considering the CBS special was a re-run (I think), and it got about the same-sized audience as the ABC special, I would say that, yes, the ABC special didn't make a huge splash when it comes to ratings.
