It Was Horrific...

Nobody can deny that. A wound to our psyche. Massive loss of lives. We ask ourselves "Why?"

Now, 5 years later, the wounds have been re-opened for many people. For some, the wounds have never healed. Guilt and blame are natural reactions.

One thing is for certain, nobody is deserving of reward or credit. No one should be looking for political rewards since that time either. We should not disregard the question, "Why?"

Neither fear nor revenge are options for our country. Most Americans agreed with going after those guilty of that horrific act on 9/11. However, to lash out blindly in revenge and to invade countries that had nothing to do with that horrific act is not a workable solution. We can only attempt to keep it all in perspective today.
