"The Path to 9/11" changed everything
We no longer live in a world where you can make a claim that there's a liberal media. 5 1/2 hours of commercial free-prime time propaganda. This was as blatant as it gets. "Path to 9/11" should be the death of the term "liberal media" from here on out.

1. Really, and it is going full tilt boogie today.
I just saw some ad, about a minute long, from People for the American Way, which I could have wrong but was definitely some right wing group that basically was saying if you don't vote Republican we're all going to die.

4. Then it was some other group, I will have to wait and see it again.
I was just so floored by what blantant propoganda it was that I was stuned I guess. Fear mongering like I have never seen it.

is not only a left wing group, but it was founded in part by Norman Lear (he of "All in the Family" renown)

It could possibly be the AFA - American Family Association, which I believe is one of Dobson's groups, or one of Donald Wildmon's groups, though I can't think of their names.

Ooops--mistake--American Family Association is one of Donald Wildmon's groups. Dobson has about a dozen others.

and get the name right. You really got to see this thing it is unbelievable. I saw it on Fox news.

8. BTW
PFAW has some excellent write-ups of many of the right wing groups. Here's a link:

10. It's Progress For America ...

I started to think about what you were describing and it sounded familiar. Crooks and Liars had a writeup on it :

If not that, it could've been this one:

12. Yep, the crooks and liars link is the right one
Thanks for finding that, I simply could not believe what I was seeing. Dovetails in nicely with the Path to 9/11 show. Talk about blatant propaganda that unfortunately many in the country will buy hook, line and sinker.

And I thought Terri Schiavo was the bottom of the barrel.

7. ABC/Disney are no different than FAUX, just trying to appear so...
...if they had any credibility at all they would have admitted up front who made the film, who financed it, and stated on the record that it carried a partisan bent.

Now that they have cast their lot with the Bush/Repub/NeoCon cabal, the only avenue open to them to regain any shred of credibility is to open their airwaves to opposing viewpoints, aired over two nights without commercial interruption, ... but you should not hold your breath on that one.

Think Ted Koppel did not see this one coming, and got out of Dodge to work for Discovery Channel just in the nick of time?
