She was very effective on whatever show she was on this morning.

2. I can explain it, but it was how she said it that made it good

She brought up how abusing someone's service record was politics at its ugliest, and it was only to distract from what he was saying.

Typical stuff, but she was quite calm and articulate. She just made him look petty and silly, and that giving him airtime was beyond the pale.
