6. Our Air America station in LA (KTLK-1150) reported this item
without comment, as if it were the gospel freakin' truth. They've been pretty bad about their news segments parroting administration talking points, but this takes the turd-cake :grr: :banghead: :grr:

7. Well Don't Forget She Referred to * as "her husband" .....
...that in and of itself reveals a lot about what is going on with her.

Who in their right mind, who is unmarried, ever refers to another person as their 'husband'???? That was no slip of the tongue. Freudian maybe, ....

Presidential behavior?

8. There were much closer ties between Saddam and Reagan.
Since Rumsfeld was Reagan's envoy to the region maybe we should target him next.

15. Of course she's presidential timber

Rice: ‘There Were Ties Going On Between Al Qaeda And Saddam Hussein’

... and there are people out there who think she is presidential timber???

She is in it up to her neck, and no different than * when it comes to spreading lies about supposed facts that have already proven wrong.

Right wingers, especially neoconservatives, think that the ability to lie about foreign policy with a straight face is the most important asset a president can have.

The American people are good and decent people who would not have supported invading Iraq, even as evil as Saddam was, if the basic idea was to provide business opportunities for war profiteers. So the magnitude of the threat posed by Saddam had to be exaggerated and in some cases completely fabricated. Ambiguous intelligence reports had to be edited so the assessment of the threat sounded certain. Then those who knew about the unedited versions paraded the edited version to Congress and the public saying that this is how they "knew" Saddam had a vast biochemical arsenal. And they "knew" that Saddam was rebuilding his nuclear program because the Iraqi exile they found in the psycho ward told them all about it and they had a crudely forged document to prove it.

They all knew what they were doing when they told those fables before March 18, 2003.

Dick Cheney knows what he's doing when he continues to say "Saddam" in the same sentence as "September 11."

Bill Kristol knows what he's doing when he runs stories in The Weekly Standard promoting some wacky conspiracy theory about Saddam passing his weapons off to Syria just before the invasion.

And Condi Rice knows what she's doing, too.

16. Cogent and Accurate Analysis ... especially NeoCons value lying...
...it goes back to their embrace of Machiavellian philosophy, the end justifies the means --and it does not matter how many lies and dispicable acts you have to commit against humanity to get there.

However, in the NeoCon twist, the end does not even have to be honorable or of value. Rather it just has to benefit the rich, powerful, and greedy cabal that you value over all.
