Tomorrow is primary day in several states: Does you state have one?
Edited on Mon Sep-11-06 06:04 PM by Ignacio Upton
Tomorrow I plan on voting in the Democratic primary for New York State, and I'm giddy because it's my first time casting a ballot. I plan on voting for Eliot Spitzer, Dan Maffei, and Dave Valesky in terms of voting for front-runners I like (Governor, Congressman, and State Senator, naturally.) I also plan to vote for Tasini as a protest against Hillary (if he gets roughly 20%, I think it will convince Hillary not to run in 2008) and Sean Maloney for Attorney General, because I can't stand Andrew Cuomo or Mark Green (I'll only vote in that race in November if it's close, because I hate Pirro much more than Cuomo, who's going to be the nominee.)

Aside from my state, I know that MD and RI have two important Senate primaries. In MD, Cardin and Mfume are running neck and neck for the Democratic nomination to replace Paul Sarbanes, and to face off against closet-wingnut Michael Steele. In RI, we should all hope that Chafee goes down in defeat to Laffey the way Lieberman lost to Lamont.

I know there are other states holding primaries, and other races featured in the states I mentioned. List them please :) .

6. What were you before you changed?
Were you unaffiliated? WFP? What I like about NYS politics is the fact that we can have fusion tickets.
