Countering the swift boat headed for Keith
Like so many here predict, I fear that Keith is really in for it. And when that blow comes, my first suggestion would be to send Keith a button saying, "I was swift-boated by the Republican Noise Machine." This will turn their attack into their own liability, dismissing it with a healthy dose of sneer, and making it a badge of honor.

Second, argue that no matter how someone feels about Keith, no matter which facts they decide to pick apart, the core truth is that Bush used the overwhelming support of the American people for his personal political gain. He used the overwhelming support of us all to push through his own stupid agenda that specifically benefits him and his wealthy friends. That more than anything else, shows the only priorities the man has. From the credit companies to the oil companies, Bush will help them at ordinary Americans' expense. He will use our fear not to help us, not to help America, but to help himself.

America still faces an enemy outside our borders. Unfortunately we face one far more dangerous inside.

4. We all need to support Keith by letting MSNBC know
of our support. Keith is now the voice of the mainstream who had been too intimidated by the minority bushbots to speak out before.

Keith speaks the truth.

8. Keith??? Intimidated by Bushbots???
I think you are thinking of a different Keith!

This is the very same Keith who reported on the Ohio election irregularities back in 2004 when no one else would.

Same Keith...just a newer, bigger audience, is all!

Same site that got booted off KO's Wikipedia article for being just an "obscure blog".

9. Perhaps Not
Keith Olbermann does not have a large megaphone and going after him could well open up a can of worms that the Republicans may not want to open, like getting his message in front of a lot more Americans. Does Bush really want to answer why things are moving so terribly slow? I think not.

Actually, Mayor Ray Nagin fired the first salvo but his message was self-serving. But it helped open the door for follow-up comments like Olbermann's tonight. When Nagin said it I said "he's right" but because he said it to deflect from his own shortcomings it wouldn't be properly critiqued, and it wasn't. Now that two people have said it maybe a light bulb will turn on and somebody will ask, why is lower Manhattan still an open sore. Why haven't we seen more action and less placing blame on others Mr. President. Why?
