Abramoff Visited the Ranch " at least four occasions in 2003 and 2004"
A former DeLay staffer who is cooperating with the investigation into both Abramoff and the disgraced GOP leader’s activities, has told investigators that Abramoff and DeLay visited Bush at his ranch on at least four occasions in 2003 and 2004.

...

Abramoff kept a photo of himself with Bush, shot at the Crawford ranch, in his office in Washington. The autograph from Bush said “to my great friend Jack.”

Dale Knally, a campaign worker in the 2004 Bush-Cheney re-election campaign, recalls a meeting between Bush and Abramoff during a campaign stop in Florida.

“He put his arm around Abramoff and told us that ‘this man is one of this administration’s greatest friends,’” Knally recalls. Knally declined a job in the Bush administration and returned to school after the election and remembers some in the campaign privately calling Abramoff a “sleazeball.”

Even a vague idea? I hate it when "Capitol Hill Blue" is the only source. . .

27. Don't you hate it when your brain's overloaded?

"Time" has photos of * with Abramoff, from what I heard on tv the other day. Don't know if any show him at the ranch.

31. I only found one instance - it was "near the Crawford Ranch"
http://www.texasobserver.org/showArticle.asp?ArticleID=2016

excerpt:

The White House couldn’t ignore the broadening scope of McCain’s investigation. Abramoff had raised $300,000 for Bush, been invited to a funders’ thank-you at a ranch near the President’s Crawford ranch (declined because he doesn’t travel on the Jewish Sabbath), served on Bush’s transition team in 2000, and had been to the White House on numerous occasions after Bush was elected. According to a source who has been interviewed by the FBI, Abramoff told tribal clients that he met regularly with Karl Rove, who insisted on meeting outside the White House so Abramoff’s name wouldn’t appear in public records. Norquist was selling casino Indians face time with President Bush for $25,000 a head. Bush’s Secretary of the Interior was changing Indian policy to accommodate Abramoff, at the request of DeLay and Speaker Denny Hastert. The scandal that started on K Street reached south toward Pennsylvania Avenue.

18. They did a lot of Bush having breakdown stories...
based on reports from a single anonymous source. Now, I believe it! But when stories are a from a single source and are never repeated elsewhere... you have to to consider them "unreliable" -- in the sense that the stories aren't corroborated.

Google and Lycos only give 4 total hits on the name "Dale Knally".

All 4 lead back to this story.
Why am I not surprised?

17. So let's see...Abramoff visited the ranch four times at least
Scott McClellan admitted that Abramoff attended White House Staff Meetings but refused to say when or why.

There are at least five photos showing Bush and Abramoff together.

Abramoff attended at least two Hannukah celebrations at the White House.

Abramoff was named to George Bush's transition government in 2000 and helped prepare the Bush Department of the Interior to take the reins.

Abramoff was named a "Bush Pioneer" for raising over $100,000 for the Bush campaign.

Susan Ralston was Jack Abramoff's own personal secretary and handled all of his business affairs. She was Abramoff's executive assistant at Preston Gates and Ellis and later followed Abramoff to the firm Greenberg Traurig law and lobbying firm, where "she served as the assistant director of governmental affairs" under Abramoff. Ralston then was recommended to Abramoff's "good friend" Karl Rove, who hired her as his own top staffer. Ms. Ralston now holds the titles of Special Assistant to the President and Assistant to the Senior Advisor (Karl Rove).

So is there any proof that Bush knows Mr. Abramoff? Mmmmm....could be.

Sweet!

Like sands through an hourglass, these are the days of scrub-ya's life; He'll look back and think of these days as the 'free' days, you know, free of incarceration, free to go where he pleases and free to take a drinky. Drip by drip, drab by drab, it is coming out. The little Duce is finally getting what's due him, and it won't be pretty.

I sure hope someone stable is holding the Nuk-U-Lar football.

I think our fearless leader will look good in Leavenworth stripes. I'd rather see him in Joe Arapaho's jail. All the reich wingers love old Joe since he's such a law and order type guy with his pink underwear and green bologna. Let's see how much they like it when one of theirs is jailed there.
