Democratic Poll: A 10-Point Lead for Vermont’s Welch
A new Democratic poll obtained by The Wall Street Journal casts doubts on Republican claims that they’ve got a shot at capturing the Vermont House seat being vacated by liberal independent Rep. Bernie Sanders.

A Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research poll shows Democrat Peter Welch leads Republican Martha Rainville by 10 points, 52% to 42%. A recently released Republican poll put the race within a closer margin.
