Bush is fighting to save the House so he can save himself..
Bush is desperately clinging to hope that the House of Representatives will stay in Republican hands. Because he knows he is safe from investigation so long as he has his rubber stamp. He is running scared. He cannot stand for the truth to be exposed. Because the truth holds criminal penalties for him. His only hope is that he gets a Democratic Congress that is too tired to investigate his actions.

1. All you have to do is look at his face...
especially on that Lauer interview. He's scared shitless.

He's told so many lies, he can't possibly account for all of them anymore.

I guarantee Rove is working on the big fix as we speak.

3. I'm sure kkkarl is but most times a liar will dig such a hole
he can't ever get out of it, especially true when the liar tells them so freely, sometimes even when the truth would sound better. Yes bush* is tripping over his lies and loosing his balance or what balance he had that is. bush* is going down, I can feel it in my bones, just kidding there.

4. oh yeah,it's gonna get nasty
Dems need to fight just as viciously and relentlessly as they are planning on doing.

Bush has had a free ride up to this point,if Dems take control a bright shining light will be focused on the cockroach and his crimes.

6. He's also fighting for
...40 years of planning to control media

...billions of dollars in investments into lobbying and media purchases

...trillions of dollars of taxpayer money yet to be funnelled to wall street under privatized medical or retirement savings

...hundreds of billions of dollars for high priced oil, squeezing every last dime out of the industry before necessarily finding alternative sources

...billions and billions of dollars for corporations who profit from lax environmental enforcement

...untold billions of dollars for defense industry

...52 of the worlds largest 100 economies: corporations, the new "countries"

...ideology of domination instead of leadership

...avoiding jailtime

...500 billion investment in Iraq's oil

If the election is close today, it's going to get closer over the next two months because folks who have serious cash at stake here are going to pull out all the stops. There will be surprising events, spin, smears, confusion, and a full court press on misinformation. Those who think election integrity is off limits are naive. There is simply too much on the line.

As a backup, they will continue to court dc dems who they can count on not to rock the boat.

Over the next two months we'll see the GOP continue to throw the administration under the bus, but everyone knows it is with the consent of the WH. Unless both houses fall to dems (and maybe even if it does) the two years after that will be a very rocky battle, with the WH going to extremes to continue the path it has chosen and then stiff-arming any congressional oversight.

Their goal is to continue funnelling money to pals and every day they remain in office is worth tons of money.

And if neither house is taken...watch out.

7. You are right on the money Kentuck
He's scared shitless at what will happen to him when the REAL investigations begin, not these dog and pony shows that the Repukes have been over seeing.

8. It's Pretty Pathetic
When you have to "beg" for your party to stay in power to keep you out of prison. That is exactly what Rove is doing.
