What is sacred to Republicans? (A rant.)
The Republicans have drifted so far into nihilism and insanity, that I think it is worth asking. What is sacred to Republicans?

What is sacred to Republicans?

It's not war service or medals. We've seen what they did to Kerry and Cleland. We've seen what they did to Murtha most recently. Replicans question war medals. Republicans avoid service themselves. The College Republicans stay stateside in every war. Hey, someone's got to watch out for the wives and girlfriends of the poor chumps serving overseas. Show a College Republican a war amputee with a medal and he thinks "servant with an undeserved medal whose girlfriend is now back in play."

What is sacred to Republicans?

It's not Jesus? They disagree with him on almost every point. They only like him white and up on the cross. There, helpless to do good, he stands as a symbol for what happens to liberals in Roman governments with pagan and Pharisee houses of worship.

What is sacred to Republicans?

It's not the United States of America. A whole bunch of the Republicans are unrepentant secessionists. Another whole bunch of them think the Constitution is toilet paper. And United? Us and the rabble? You must be kidding! Democracy? Not if it means people are equal. Law? Not if it means they have to obey it.

What is sacred to Republicans?

It's not human life. Republicans are in a world of criminals, enemies, rabble, suckers, "troglodytes" and other sub-human humans. They divide life into innocent and "not innocent." The not innocent are those who commit crimes, who live in the bad neighborhoods in which they were born, who live in a foreign country, who are poor. The innocent human lives are unborn fetuses -- basically white unborn fetuses. Actually, it's not even white unborn fetuses. It's unborn white fetuses of their social class or higher.

What is sacred to Republicans?

It's not truth. They use it infrequently and shabbily. They hide it. They hide from it. Nothing is really true for them anymore. There is no good, no honest leadership, nothing to hope for if you are a Republican now.

2. in a word..........money!!
It's the only thing they all seem to value and believe in!!

Yes, they say moral values are important but we all know they only use that to win votes which also translates into more money.

6. Money IS the key for the big guys in the GOP.

For the majority of them, moral values are just a campaign gimmick they use to get votes.

4. And feeling they have a right to abuse those "other" people
You know, the ones who don't belong to their church, or live in their neighborhood, or dress the same way, or have love affairs GOPs say they wouldn't choose for themselves, or make life choices GOPS say they didn't make for themselves (although they did), or have a different skin color, or speak with an accent or, or, or....

I think that's what they treasure most of all, a party that has given them permission to hate, and that has then pointed out "appropriate targets." They do love to hate.

8. It's not love though no doubt they would say they love their guns and cars
Hard to see they love any living being, or say, anything that is capable of reciprocating.

10. their families, just like us. their church -- even if it is leading them
on a path to perdition by getting them to pray loudly to Jesus while ignoring the meaning of his teachings.

and money.

but aside from their current viciousness, (matched by some of us), they are really just people - aren't they?

Republican Leaders? Different story. They are worshipers of $$, gluttons, and egomaniacs. Few exceptions.

17. Actually, I think many Republicans would sell out their families,
given the opportunity and the right price (which, I imagine, is probably lower than one might think).

14. Flags and Statues
Edited on Mon Jan-23-06 08:50 AM by YOY
Something to wave mindlessly and something that legend has made greater than humanly possible.

They like to be proud for something they really have/had no contributing factor to, but since when does pride need accomplishment to support it?

and the omnipresent ubiquitous financial motivation of course...

22. We also invented the word 'testify'
Because it meant swearing by one's own testicles. Can't imagine a guy will lie on the stand when THAT is on the line.
Of course, I can't say I'm exactly proud of that one. :)

21. Domination and social control in republican hands
is sacred to republicans. For republicans are too often just bullies criminals and sociopaths looking for power ,control,to dominate and to take more..

They are not like us and they cannot stand us because they will not give, share, help, care or be one among many. Republicans want to win always,be on top and get their way all ways.
Republicans are bullies, abusers of trust and power, sociopaths, narcissists, warmongers, ignorant and proud of it, greedy and self absorbed ,status seekers and they have no moral character beyond what they can get away with and fake because they are not full human beings their capacity for empathy is stunted.

Long ago they called people like this current administration morally insane..
