If it was revealed from remaining AQ members that hijacking planes in the US was attempted during the Clinton administration but delayed because it was unsuccessful, would they let the public know about that?

Clinton foiled because he maintained good relationships with our allies (the Phillipines & Pakistan in this case) so Ramsi Yousef was arrested, tried & convicted before he could carry it out. Would that count? I know it only saved an estimated 4,000 lives, but still might be worth a mention. National Geographic, in fact, showed an "Air Emergency" segment about it last night.

That's what I'm asking. If an AQ member actually said they were going to blow up such and such during that time but had to delay because at that such a time, security was restricted. Would the republicans let that get out? I'm thinking that answer is no.
