Did White House request for Google records seem a little unusual ??
It seemed so ridiculous and surprising as to be questionable? Why would they gamble with such a request with all the recent focus on the NSA spying on American citizens, etc? Doesn't that seem to be rather arrogant and foolish?

Perhaps there is more behind the request than first meets the eye? Perhaps they have already spied on Google's records? And now, they want approval for their act that they have already committed? It all seemed so "unusual" to me? Something smelled about it.

3. As more Americans realize MSM is NOT telling what they need to know
they are turning to online news sources. They see blogs mentioned in chat rooms and message boards. More people start poking around and finding out more bad shit is going on. They keep digging. That means they use search engines.

If the junta can intimidate enough people into abandoning the use of the big search engines, they can keep some cover.

It's just one more bully tactic to keep the peasants from realizing the real power could be We The People.

9. I think you are very close...
They want to confuse the issue of spying on Americans thru the NSA with spying on Americans thru Google... and the reasons simply mesh into one...
