Hopefully I'll be able to pick this station up. ummm, Somebody has to call Randi and tell her El Paso is on Mountain Time, not CT.

1. Now HOUSTON needs a station |
|
The only way I can listen is to stream on dialup, which can be very, very bad sometimes.

2. Here in Las Cruces, I can get it on the car radio.....but inside |

the house, only in the afternoons.
The station is 85 KWatts (I think that's the unit of measurement) during the day, then it's cut to .85 at night.
What drowns it out is a huge station from Ft. Smith, Arkansas on 1650 there which is all right wing. Randi is swamped by Michael Savage around 4:30 pm....
Yesterday (Saturday) AM, programming was pre-empted for some sports event....crap. The station is part of the "Texas Tech" sports network, so there will be lots of preempting.
Wish we had an AAR outlet here in Las Cruces. We need it, desperately....

7. Great maps!!! I pull it in on my Grundig Shortwave radio in my office |
|
I keep it on DX (for distance rather than local) and I still can only get it in the afternoon. My 50 foot longwire antenna (25 ft high) helps a little more on the other Grundig in my bedroom.

I'm happy for you guys! I love having a local progressive network so I don't always have to listen online. :)

I want to know if i can request them to look into a certain area. I live in Bloomington, rather go to school here at Indiana University and it is a liberal hotbed (bubble) here in indiana. Anyone know anything?

broadcasted from El Paso last Friday. Wonderful city where I was born, the free city of El Paso! I have had arguments with people here in NM and one was a Texan telling them that once passed Guadelupe Mountain around Van Horne, it is MST. Juarez is on CST like most of Mexico.
