better off and any stupid prick who thinks it was a great idea that they got 300 bucks thanks to bush is an idiot.
WE have paid more than that in rising gas prices and a host of other expenses.

The $300 was an advance on the next year's taxes, not a refund. I know people who planned vacations with that money, not knowing that they'd pay for it later.

It came in real darned handy, what with arriving the week before we had to replace our central a/c unit. But you know what? If we hadn't received it, we'd have found another way to pay.
