In asking, they are not wanting to seriously listen for your input in the quest to really solve...they want to pick at your answer to denigrate it, to destroy it by any means at hand....

They have ulterior motives when asking questions...

and we let them get away with this shit all the time...that is...until recently.

One by one, the Democrats have grown some balls and now are asking the real questions...puting the GOP on the defense...who cannot answer tough question without going into distraction, denial, distortion, and/or evasive gibberish like Bush likes to do,,,,
