1. Add another one to the list of lies you have to believe to be....... |
|
......a brain-dead freeper.
1. Txradiosnitch wasn't trying to get Mike_c in trouble when he wrote that letter to his employer.
Unf--king believable. The little puss-bag snitch is now crying foul because mike_c contacted HIS employer - Calling it an "escalation." Sometimes I find it hard to figure if these people really ARE that stupid or if they are just naturally lying little brown-shirt wannabes.

7. They don't ever expect someone to actually fight back... |
|
...and it seems to be a rude awakening for them when someone chooses to do just that.
I wonder why. (Seriously.)

3. You are missing the point, really |
|
Mike C is burying this moron underneath an avalanche of facts, but the moron doesn't care. You see, he's operating under a belief system. There is no way a belief system can ever be countered by facts. It has to be buried by events.
Mike C is fighting the good fight. His opponent is simply unworthy.

10. What is so funny about that debate |
|
is that the moran has *NO* idea he's losing the argument. He actually thinks he's winning! He seems to genuinely believe that an assertion is as good as a fact, especially if the assertion comes from Shrub. The fact that Bush SAID something is proof that it's true...yeah, RIGHT! Typical Freeper "logic."

|
...to our country? We have a blathering idiot posing as POTUS who Kerry mopped the floor with in the debates...yet only half of us could see it. It's all rather un-nerving.

|
What utter crap!
He even had the gall to bring up Zarqawi's camp in Northern Iraq which this administration has shown was NOT under Saddam's control and recently released documents even prove that Saddam wanted to take Zarqawi out, not set up an alliance with him!

been though. Takes a bit of the fun out of it for me. I wouldn't side with the viewpoint in a million years that every single one of our troops there are war criminals and should be tried as such. In fact, it twists my stomach to know that an opinion like that came from here. Would he look Cindy Sheehan in the eyes and tell her that her son should've been tried for war crimes? I personally feel it was a horrible thing to say and I don't agree with it in the least bit. Having that said though, I do find myself agreeing for the most part with the rest of the arguments he's forging surrounding the war itself and am impressed with his ability to defend those points.

13. If you'll also notice, he's said he's moderated those views quite a bit. |
|
And given that they were originally written in the aftermath of the Abu Ghraib revelations (IIRC), all the more understandable that somebody would write such a thing in a heated, emotional response.

I find his original comments pretty disgusting actually, as I know someone who is over there currently, who I have a lot of respect for, and I know a sailor and a marine, who served earlier in this debacle. Most of them are good guys stuck in a shitty situation; not the sick fucks running amok at Abu Ghraib.
That being said, TXRadioGuy is still despicable for reporting him to his employer and is generally a kool-aid drinking fool.

11. txradioguy simply does not recognize international law at all |
|
That seems to be the crux of the matter. He does not understand what it means for a nation to be a signatory to international legal documents. (Neither does the Bush administration, unless the document in question is GATT or NAFTA or concerns the intellectual property rights of American companies.)

... while screaming at his trampy girlfriend outside the door.
It's all swagger, bluster, ASSertions, outright falsehoods and a complete disregard for the irrefutable points mike_c has very aptly and succinctly made.
He's an individual incapable of intellectual honesty and (appaarently) comprehension. His mind is to a rational mind as a collection of fortune cookie inserts is to the Sonnets of Shakespeare. There is just no indication whatsoever he's got the fogggiest idea what logic and reasoning are. None.
There is absolutely no question a sane and rational person can have that the invasion and occupation of Iraq is a crime against peace and a war crime against the Iraqi people, compounded by war crimes in abu Ghraib, Gitmo, and the CIA gulag.
I would most certainly include the flag officers in the military in prosecutions for war crimes under the Nuremberg principles, but it is VERY important that we realize that such a allegation (and any conviction) IS TOTALLY PREMISED on the prosecution and conviction of the civilian 'leadership' (as it WAS in Nuremberg). We cannot and MUST not allege that junior officers and enlisted personnel, acting within the guidelines set by JAG advice, the UCMJ, and their chain of command, are 'guilty' of war crimes. Unless they acted with initiative in a manner that exacerbated and extended the overall war crime or committed acts that would themselves be regarded as war crimes even absent the criminal command context, they cannot in equity and justice be claimed to be guilty of anything except serving their nation in the manner We The People have prescribed, supported (votes and taxes), and permitted (by failure to halt) - and did so under threat of summary execution. (Disobedience in a war zone under combat conditions is punishable by summary execution. Bang! You're dead.)
