It was a dead cat bounce, apparently.

"The latest Bush bounce is over. Today, 41% of American adults approve of the way that President Bush is performing his job and 57% disapprove. That’s exactly where the numbers were before the President’s 9/11 speech.
Overall, 21% of Americans Strongly Approve and 42% Strongly Disapprove."

Push 1 if you are VERY stupid err, think bush is doing a very good job

Push 2 if you are starting to regain sanity think bush is doing a fair job

Push 3 if you ....

The won't even hire real people to ask the phony questions?!?! :wtf:

Well, they've had pretty good luck scrambling the results with machines in the past. Guess they are gonna use the tools that work for them.

6. Bingo
That's how they do so many polls, through the automated questioning. It's very controversial in the polling community.

7. RNC outsourced their phone calling
to India during the last election cycle, perhaps they received some backlash (ya know major american party - not hiring americans - for phone polling)... gone to automated instead (still not employing americans except the one person who created the tape recording...)
