State by State Analysis of Dubba's Socail Security Privatization
The Ways and Means Committee Democrats released a state by state analysis of the benefit cuts cuts that are part of the Bush privatization plan. The analysis shows the effect of the President's plan for beneficiaries in each sate if it had been in place during their working years.

Also at the Democratic site there is a GAO report. The GAO issued a report which confirmed that the President's proposal for changing the indexing of Socail Security benefits --- his middle-class benefit cut-is indeed a Benefit cut.

3. The Baby Boomers are the ones who will get cheated the most.

We will all suffer from this privatization of SS but we Baby Boomers have been the recipients of a special con. We were the first generation to pay both for our own retirement (hence the stolen SS savings fund) and our parents'. Raygun introduced this special double payment by doubling our SS tax and then turning around and using our SS to pay for the deficit he ran up. Of course it is the same for the generations that follow us but we are the first generation to be hit with both the double SS tax and cut in benefits (while still thinking SS would be there for us). Thank you Raygun. The neo-cons couldn't have destroyed a whole generation's retirement without you.

4. We all need to summarize this and send it to our personal email
address book. Include the links. This works! They can's deny or spin what their own administration says!

11. here's the direct link
to the pdf:

Looks like Bush plans to steal what folks have set aside for their retirements at an average of $7000 from every middle class person that makes over 20,000 a year. With connecticut getting knocked the worst for $7500 in losses.
