11. The guy shared a story about when Truman was a senator , a Dem, |
and when Dems were in power, he was able to investigate war profiteering. He doubted very much if Frist could conduct such an investigation. Saif those elected need to change their attitudes and start taking responsibility. The guy (didn't catch his name) is a Republican (a REAL one - not a neocon)

12. Thanks for posting the remark |
Yes, there are plenty of 'real Republicans' still around. They are not happy campers. My county is full of them. Only one person heard saying anything in defense of bush/cheney/GOP Congress. Only one.

16. The Party! The Party! Reminds me of the old USSR |
Party loyalty more important than doing a decent job, having any skills/knowledge, or getting anything positive done FOR THE NATION.
Their ideology is like the Nazis and their methods like the old Soviets. Am I the only one who feels like there is an iron crutain going up?

15. Service men, Congress and the President swear to constitutions. |
Not to President. This is not Hitler's Germany. I do not see why Congress, servicemen and the President have not figured this out. Pull up what these people swear to and think about it. First the President swears to up hold that Constitutions before being C.in Chief. I even had a fight with my son over this.
