Looks like Bruce Willis has stuck his finger in the wind
Willis no die-hard
for the GOP

Things must be pretty dire for the Republicans if even Bruce Willis is bailing on them.

The 51-year-old movie star seemed desperate to put daylight between himself and the GOP when I caught up with him the other night at a Milk Studios show of his pal Lucy Liu's oil paintings.

"Please write this," said Willis, who has voiced support for the war in Iraq and appeared at the White House with President Bush. "I'm always being accused of being a Hollywood Republican — but I'm not!"

Done.

3. Not good enough.
Why did he allow the misunderstanding to continue without correction?

14. Republicans are children. Look at how they glorify the Duke.
I bet there are things in that man's life that defy Republican family values, but the perception lives on.

4. Better late than never.
Willis has a pretty large fan base, perhaps he should speak up and let others know how he feels about today's GOP. It couldn't hurt.

7. First Joe Scarborough, now Bruce Willis; who's next, Dennis Miller?
Everytime one of these clowns hedges bets on Dubya, I'm a little more hopeful about the outcome in November.

9. I don't want Dennis Miller
on our side. Bruce is welcome. Come on over. And, you, too, Scarborough. And bring your macho, party-hearty friends with you.
You're all welcome.
Just leave Dennis Miller at home.

11. Miller can only come back if he becomes funny again.
And yes, I do happen to think he was funny at some point in the rapidly fading past.

10. I don't care about celebrity political views.
The man was in 2 of my all time favorite movies:

12 Monkeys, and Pulp Fiction.

Beyond that I really don't give a shit what he personally thinks about anything. He has no power.

I'm not going to disown my Mad Max movies because Gibson was in them. Those movies are classics.

Rejecting celebrities based on their personal views seems like a freeper thing to do (Dixie Chicks).

13. How reliable is this columnist?
I mean, there was a lot of flak before about Willis "turning", and there was no "proof" ...
