Our Gas just Dropped Again.
Yesterday it was 2.099. This morning the Shell station was 1.99

I just drove by the Shell station and now they have 1.969. Oddly, Conoco right up the street is still 2.099. I didn';t see what Quik-Trip was at.

If this keeps up I might not have to sell my jeep.

1. In December gas prices will return to "normal."
Edited on Mon Sep-18-06 11:36 AM by onehandle
$3+ is just around the corner.

Probably Right after we take over Congress in January.

For what it's worth, gas in Covington, GA this morning was $2.22. :hi:

I'll enjoy it while it lasts. I hope the sheep finally get the connection this year.

2. Sell your Jeep now while potential buyers feel good about gas prices
Because you know as well as I that prices will start jumping back up right after the election.

7. Yes! Do it now!
After Iran is invaded you won't be able to give an SUV away.

Exception: Jeep Wranglers are well worth keeping, because in a post-Bush scenario the Wranglers will be about the only vehicles capable of negotiating unmaintained roads at 20+ mpg.

16. I love 'em too.
Not too long ago the woman of my dreams ripped my heart out and drove off with it in her Wrangler. But nowdays, I find myself missing the Jeep a lot more than I miss her.

17. Well don't feel too bad. I actually bought an old jeep for a boyfriend
and then he drove off in it - new motor and everything.

I don't miss him a bit - but I am really pissed about the jeep.

3. Shit ... I just paid $2.77 this morning ...
and I was thrilled.

Could AWOL be Jaw Boning them Arabs to open their spiggots, or is this just proof that this administration has been keeping gas prices high artificially, so that they can be lowered for election purposes.

Cheers
Drifter

18. I love St. Louis ...
My brother in law lives in Edwardsville, Illinois (20 mi NE of Stl).

The only time we have been out there is in August (when it is stifling hot).

Cheers

8. So, if the reason prices went up
was because of the emerging Chinese market...does this mean the Chinese are no longer "emerging"?
Or, we were once again told phony reasons for the manipulation of gas pricing?

13. It may be my imagination or maybe my tinfoil beanie's too tight
but it looks like the big decreases in price are happening in red states and states they really want and think they can cheat their way into winning.

Here in NM, the prices went from 2.899 to 2.459. We got 100% paper optical scan ballots, so they've written us off and won't be dropping our prices that much.

More room to forgive market variations.
