"Dalai Lama stirs all faiths with message of peace, unity"

AGain, I ask for anyone who can post this picture... it's a gem!
Thanks in advance!

"From the blessing of a Buddhist temple on a cold, clear morning in the Rockies to a sold-out talk at a 15,000-seat arena in downtown Denver, His Holiness the Dalai Lama on Sunday sounded his familiar themes of compassion and respect for others.

Those who came to share in his presence included a Muslim woman in a black head scarf who works for U-Haul, a Jewish therapist, a Lakota chief - even Jordan's Queen Noor, who offered prayers in English and Arabic.

major snippage...

"On Sunday in Denver, the Dalai Lama emphasized compassion and "warmheartedness" and counseled people to reduce their negative emotions and increase positive ones, which he calls "inner disarmament." Only once that is achieved can society move toward "external disarmament" and do away with the arms trade and nuclear weapons, he said.

All religions share a foundation of love, compassion and forgiveness, the Dalai Lama said. He said it is "absolutely unfair and untrue" to generalize Islam as violent because of the actions of a few.

"Since Sept. 11, I, a Buddhist monk, now becoming a defender of Muslims, of Islam," he said."
