Now the military is coming out against Chimpy? |
|
Stopped to get something for dinner, and the tv was set on Lou Dobbs.
Seems like both RETIRED and ACTIVE DUTY military commanders are finally speaking up.
Not enough troops, no game plan, really sick of Rummy's incompetence - the list goes on and on.
This is a good thing :)

2. I guess they figure it's now or never. |

I bet a lot of them wish they had spoken up sooner ...... like back in 2004. They just kept hoping the situation would get better.

3. Deeper implications,... |
|
---- This means that it will be just that much more unlikely that the military will back Bush up if he should make a martial-law power grab towards dictatorship,... In fact, the military might put him in his place

12. But then reinstalling themselves as dictators |
|
We don't really need the military refusing to go along with our constitutional system in anything, even disobeying Chimpy.

...Fiasco. With the exception of the Stepin Fetchit types like Franks, Myers, Pace, etc., the vast majority of top uniformed personnel can't stand Rummy or the Bush admin "policies," and mostly knew Iraq was going to be a disaster.

10. False hope is the only hope around! |
|
We are hanging by a thread here, no joke.
I basically got that the only thing stopping the IRAN war was the generals, from reading Sy Hersch in the New Yorker. A few generals seem to be all we have to hang our hopes on. Lord knows, the politicians only look out for themselves. And never dare say the truth-which is you can't win the world over by endless war. IF we had the men-we don't-if we had the money-we don't-if we had other nations support-we don't. I PRAY the Chimp falls on his face in front of the UN. We have seen this dog and pony show before. Apparently they think we have taken our amnesia juice.
