Do you support "alternative interrogation techniques"?
Edited on Tue Sep-19-06 01:48 AM by longship
Sounds kind of reasonable, doesn't it. Why don't we just give this government the right to use these alternate techniques? After all, the Chimp himself said that the US doesn't torture. They're only trying to get the flexibility to be able to use a little water-boarding and other methods of pain and suffering so that we can get to the truth. But they are just alternative interrogation techniques, not torture.
:sarcasm:

Read about it here, from our friends the CNN editors.
White House changing its CIA interrogation bill
(Second paragraph: they are calling it "alternative interrogation techniques".)

I wrote an e-mail to CNN and called them out on it.

1. Mendacity. We need to have a call in day tomorrow when that felon
goes to the UN and makes his case for torture.

I swear, the stops need to come OUT.

:nuke:

5. They can only lie to make their case, they can never tell the truth.
This is the reality of the situation. If you ever find yourself doubting your political position, just ask yourself if you have to lie to defend your views. You don't, I don't, they do.
