I couldn't watch the entire clip. I'm assuming the clip is legit, but it was just way too disturbing for me to deal with. I find it interesting, though, that the clip was from ABC News, in the wake of Path to 9/11. Thanks for the clip. I'm getting more and more afraid of what's likely going to happen to our country if things don't get turned around, and turned around quickly.

Hmmm, I don't remember all of the ten commandments, but isn't there that one about no other God's?

As well as no graven images. But the commandments are more like guidelines than actual rules.

The commandments are not guidelines. I'm a very, very liberal Christian but I've never seen any evidence that the commandments are just guidelines. Yes, the meaning of the various rules is debated but

And you're right about a American Jihad:I don't know too many people that wouldn't be somewhat alarmed at the JesusCamp movie. It goes against Democracy,a secular nation. It's FRIGHTENING.
It could very well happen here if they are allowed to "recruit" in this way.In fact,it sounds like that IS their intention.
When we restore some Sanity(and Seperation of Church & State)back int he WhiteHouse I think these kinds of "Camps" need to be shut down.Period.

they can't really be shut down legally, any more than the KKK should be stopped from marching - I hate the KKK, but they have the same rights we all do. Or at least the rights we used to have....

21. I understand your point |
|
But I'm not so sure this case falls under the same catagory as the KKK.This is a religious organization specifically targeting children to indoctrinate them in the means and methods to challenge our Demcoracy through politics...I would think that falls under Seperation of Church & State laws but I'm no expert so I could be wrong.
In any case, the movie is a frightneing look into this evangelical world.I do not see any difference between their attitude and the Terrorists.

crying because abortions 'kill babies' instead of being taught biology and the development of human embryos, so that she can understand what really occurs during a routine abortion, it's teaching ideology. There are no differences between fundamentalists of whatever religion. I'm appalled by this mindless surrendering of lives to 'authority' figures and ideology, be it Islam or Christian.
