Whatever became of that particular scare threat???? Haven't heard a word about it now for many months. Just curious.

Bird flu is a legitimate problem, as you said.
When it comes to bird flu, I surely don't rely on our media to give me the scoop. People have to do their own research and be advocates for themselves, unfortunately.
I surely don't rely on BushCo for any insight into this situation.
IT's easy to make fun of this--and position bird flu as more BushCo scaremongering. However, that's not totally true. Bird flu may or may not develop into a serious situation. We can't allow the media or BushCo to dictate how we handle it. We must be knowledgeable, be aware and be prepared to help ourselves without relying on our government.
Just because Junior uses hurricanes and other real threats to infuse Fascism, martial law and other perverse ideas---doesn't mean that we stop preparing for hurricanes.
Arm yourself with real information--and tune out the MSM/BushCo propaganda on this situation--that may (or may not) become critical.

13. Like SARS, West Nile, Ebola and Mad Cow, |
|
Avian flu was just hype to sell papers and get ratings.
I never believed for a second any of the warnings. It was BIRD flu, not human flu.
AIDS is the only pandemic of our age.
