1. Yes!
I think if he ever was to 2008 would be the perfect time for him.

4. "Should he consider" is irrelevant. He's already considering it.
"Should he run?" is the proper question.

I think he should.

12. I admit that is his biggest liability, but Reagan opened the door
by being the first divorced man to make it, Feingold might open the next door. I don't see why that necessarily has to eliminate him.

17. That second divorce was on good terms from both parties

Mrs. Feingold I suspect much like Mrs. Dean had no desire to be in the spotlight of first lady.

Do you know anyone who gives a fuck about the martial status of Presidential candidates? The only ones I know are Republicans and they won't vote for any Democrat save maybe Lieberman.

19. No jesting here.
Feingold has those divorces under his belt.
Gore is unscathed by the rape of Iraq.
Gore is already a household name.
Wisconsin needs Feingold, the Senate needs him too.

8. Yes, at least to raise civil liberties issues
I don't know if he has a chance to win, but he should run to at least be able to raise a public voice on issues of civil liberties.

16. He is currently my top choice
Feingold is definitely testing the waters as he builds a grass roots movement to promote progressives (progressive patriots fund)
