VIDEO: YET ANOTHER LAW PROFESSOR STATES BUSH BROKE THE LAW (BBC Newsnight)
Broadcast only in Britain a few days before Christmas, this report deserves more attention here in the United States. In the clip, Georgetown University Law Professor David Cole states that Bush's domestic spying "clearly" broke the law.

3. Well, legal scholars all seem to agree that he broke the law
and there was also an extensive discussion about his status as a lawbreaker, led by Professor Johnathan Turley of George Washington U. Law School, at the Conyers hearings on Friday.

6. Thanks Swamp Rat
Just updated the video blog page and added an explanation, mainly for the folks from Canofun who are watching the clip. It's our first video post.

8. Alberto Gonzales told Jim Lehrer tonight on the News Hour
that junior didn't break any laws. Gonzales said, Hundred of attorneys believe junior was within his rights to protect America.

During Leahy's interview about the same subject, he said he'd like to know who these attorneys are that Gonzales talks about. LOL!!

10. Gonzales is full of baloney!
Thanks for the post 0007. I suppose one could probably find a couple of hundred lawyers with GOP connections, or pay a random couple of hundred lawyers to say just about anything.

But law professors and legal scholars are quite a different story. I have yet to hear of a single law professor at a major university who argues that Bush is completely innocent.

11. Thanks for that great video.
junior's performance at Kansas was an absolute sham. He lied, he wiggle and most of all he flipped off America.

13. Yep 0007, just hearing about his Kansas antics now on Mike Malloy's show
on Air America radio. Shrub said some astonishing things, like calling civil rights "customs." What the hell?

18. Agreed. This is not a partisan issue, it's an issue of respect for law.
