Belafonte on, to speak for himself? But, but, but, I thought Harry Belafonte could only be interviewed by proxy through another black person! Has Tim Russert been informed about this?

I thought the only thing illegal when one is bitching about a President was to threaten their life?

This friggin Wolf Blitzer is so blatantly towing the line for bush--

45. Yeah. The "go along to get along" method has been effective for Dems
If you stand for nothing, you will fall (fail) for anything. Repukes learned this long ago and look where it's put them...control of all 3 branches of government. To hell with this "nice liberal" bullshit. It only reinforces the public's perception that we're wimps.

Wolfie was so caught up in trying to pin down Belafonte on semantics. I'm SO GLAD that Belafonte held his ground. It was so nice to see a liberal hold his ground on TV instead of waffling on message for fear of pissing off folks. Frankly, why should we care about pissing off Bush-bots????

about Harry Belafonte. Harry was particualrly good when Wolf talked about the innocents in New York versus those in Iraq. He told him they had jobs and professions too. Damn that was refreshing. Fugg Obama too. Spineless wanna be. Does he have a clue how many doors the likes of Belafonte opened for him. How I wish for some men and women with guts and convictions.

Somehow, I KNEW THE GOSHDAMN TRUTH,....and Powell didn't. Somehow, I KNEW THE DAMN TRUTH,...and Wolfie didn't?

BULLSHIT!!!

I AM SICK OF THEIR PATHOLOGICAL LYING,...FOR WHAT? THEMSELVES? WHO THE FUCK ARE THESE PEOPLE THAT LIE AND LIE AND LIE?

Gosh. I'm sorry I'm getting so emotional about this. I am just,...so damned sick of the dishonesty and immorality and exploitation and repeated marketing of human weakness as "good" to rationalize every evil and sin committed by those who CLEARLY operate in self-service zone - 24/7.

God, I hope we survive this insanity,...but, I do wonder.

47. Done, Here's my comment:
In his interview with Harry Belafonte, Wolf Blitzer delivered a biased atack, urging Belafonte to "Back Down" and declaring that he has "gone too far." Blitzer stopped just short of calling Belafonte a thought criminal. I want to know what gives CNN the right to decide when somone has "gone too far?" It appears that CNN is now towing the Bush party line, and since you can not beat fox, you have decided to join them. Whatever happened to the days when CNN was fair and balanced? What happened to the days when CNN did not tell people how to think? Blitzer resorted to using pathetic bait-and-switch tactics by suggesting that Belafonte said that the Jews were responsible for their fate in world war two. Blitzers comments cannot be described as journalism, but rather a pathetic attemp to attack a person who is standing up for what they believe in. Belafonte's truth backed Blitzer into a corner, and Blitzer crawled out of it like a rat.

35. He nailed Colin Powell too for his craven toadying performance at the UN.
Told Blitzer Powell knew full well it was all a pack of shit he was given to sell, and he had made his objections known to the White House, but in the end he folded and went against his own judgement and convictions and went to the UN to sell the lie to the world and as a result the war ensued and people were dying because of that war. That was great. I'm hoisting one tonight for Harry. :toast:

I hope this is up at crooks and liars soon.

The neocons were apparently right: there are some seriously STOOOPID people in this nation who can be manipulated/molded to serve the neoconsters imperial endeavors. There are those ready and willing to be "spent" for their masters' interests. They know not what they do; poor stooopid people.

Thankfully, a majority of Americans aren't "hitlerized", yet.
