3. "In Support of Chavez"??????
you've gotta be kidding me. I think Skinner would agree with me, that this has gone far enough. Whaddya bet that some lurker, like say, Michelle Malkin picks this one post & makes a big hoopla about it. I think all the cheerleading for Chavez hurts us, not the GOP.

6. And I care what Malkin thinks?
I love your argument style though "I think skinner would agree with me" that's classic. I think we get to express our opinions here pretty much regardless of what either Malkin or Skinner thinks, so long as we live within the rules, and I think Skinner would agree with me on that.

7. Forgive me Warren....
I had no right to speak for Skinner, and I'm sure most here don't care what people like Ms. Malkin think, but we're the choir. There were discussions yesterday around the office on this very topic, and people who have generally expressed disgust & contempt for Bush, have now jumped to his defense.

I'm just saying, the incivility, and the fact that SOME progressives are seen as jumping on the Chavez bandwagon doesn't play well in middle America, and these are the people we need to reach. I'm no strategist, but this doesn't help Dems in the long-run.

8. Why should I show support of Chavez?
Is he a Democrat? Does he have the best interests of my country and my countrymen on the top of his agenda?

I just don't get it.
