Seems to me that all those Kansas State students |
|
who were applauding Bush and his policies should drop out of college immediately and sign up for Iraq/Iran.

I was there, protesting, and they were real KSU students. It's sad and makes me want to :puke: Here in Kansas, it's only too easy to find freaks to willingly support THE Freak. On Edit, see our protest pics here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=153&topic_id=3874&mesg_id=3874

10. Were any that asked questions "real students?" |
|
I would suspect that the deck was stacked, and the students were "extras", like in a movie set, and the soft-ball question tossers were sanitized by the Bushies.

11. Supposedly at least 3 of them were KSU students |
|
and of the 3, 1 asked a 'tough' question re: cuts to financial aid programs.
Hey, for Kansans, 1 out of 3 isn't bad. Sadly.

2. Do they know that their financial aid has been cut? |
|
This worries me personally as a college student, and it should for any undergrad or grad student who is not independently wealthy.

All these events are staged - the whole thing is as phony as the person addressing the crowd.

If the President had shown up (Nixon) I would have clapped and cheered like crazy and I didn't even like him. But I would have been excited about even seeing a sitting president. I guess I was a bit star struck.
I've matured now.

7. did you hear about the person who asked............. |
|
....if he had seen Brokeback Mountain? What the hell kind of question is that to ask a President?
Forget about people's civil rights violations by the administration, this guy wants to know if he's seen the gay cowboy movie!!
You're right..........if they can't think of a better question than that, a college education is definitely wasted on these people!!!
