BUSH BEATS CLINTON!!!
For impeachment;

Clinton:
December 17, 1998, only days before Clinton's impeachment by the House of Representatives, when an AP poll found that only 36 percent of the American public wanted to see the Clinton impeached.
http://www.cnn.com/ALLPOLITICS/stories/1998/12/17/impeach.poll/

bush;

Zogby; Majority Supports Impeaching bush
By a margin of 52% to 43%, citizens want Congress to impeach President bush...
http://www.zogby.com/Soundbites/ReadClips.dbm?ID=12528

And now bush's "approval" rating is 36%.

Like all rightwingnuts, he's a liar, a criminal and an incompetent failure.

3. Zogby headline is misleading.
The question was "If President Bush wiretapped American citizens without the approval of a judge, do you agree or disagree that Congress should consider holding him accountable through impeachment."

Still, the trend is a good one.

6. Yes consider it while you're doing it.
And by the way, use up 53 million dollars too. That's all they spent on Clinton.

17. When Tweety stops drolling over his package and
saying that the chimp is "noble" and the kind of guy who the common man would like to have a beer with. Wrong again, he is the kind of guy the common man would like to throw a beer at.

9. People are finally catching on to the fact that if King George can do it
so can any president that follows him. This along with the Abromhoff scandal has soured many a stomach I think! FINALLY!

Noticed that whites seem to STILL be in the idiot phase. (I am white so don't flame me over this!) How Disappointing...

11. It's important to note that Zogby ran 2 polls inquiring about impeachment.
One was on the grounds of * taking the US into war (in Iraq) based on lies.
If he had, 53% of respondents favored impeachment.
http://www.afterdowningstreet.org/?q=node/4421

The second one was on the grounds of illegal wiretaps.
If he were guilty of that, 52% favored impeachment, as noted in the OP.

NOW. IF BOTH WERE TRUE...

If * took us to war based on lies AND wiretapped Americans illegally, the result would have to be MUCH HIGHER than 53%.
I wonder if Zogby will ever get around to running THAT poll?

Then throw in Plamegate, 9-11 LIHOP/MIHOP, Katrina ...

14. Great one.....the clock is ticking. The people are speaking...and no pics
yet.

The pics are vital. Not the normal trivial stuff, they represent "reasoning by sign" for the public. People will ratchet up the "fury level"-those who want him out-and get to that level if they are on the fense. 52% yes, of the remaining 48%, we've bot another 12% (presuming a 35% approval rating for Bush). That's the easy shot. At 36%, where do we go? Nobody knows but pictures would really chip away at "reluctant Bush impeachers."

Go for it.
