Tomorrow
the government will be filled with people who listen to "the people".

tomorrow.

the laws that are passed will reflect what "the people" care about.

tomorrow.

america will be seen as a democratic, but powerful, country that not only speaks about democracy, but walks the talk.

tomorrow.

The House and the Senate will listen, and follow through on saving the constitution.

tomorrow.

Tomorrow is today. dammit.

2. thanks friend
how do we get people to stop responding to "the crap'o'the day"?

and start remembering, or thinking about those things that are truly important?

4. Would there be much discussion here if we didn't?
Keep in mind that just about all of us here agree on roughly 75% - 95% of all topics in politics, including the fundamental things that I assume would fall under "truly important." We discuss the "crap'o'the day," because those are the things the group doesn't agree on, and therefore are the topics where there can be greater discussion than "Me too!"

5. Don't Know
Though it's an oft asked question, and a worrying one. "Cause if progressives won't do it, how can we expect that anyone else will. Persistence may be the key. Keep posting your threads.
