So.. I guess "end of the world" scenarios are in vogue again.. |

"Jericho" ...somewhere in Kansas... (new show premirered tonight) uses the scenario.. Apparently Denver & Atlanta get nuked ..(perhaps more cities..no one's in touch with anywhere else)..
Although I have never wtched it, doesn;t "24" deal with a terrorist bombing/attack?
and of course we ahve "Dead Zone" with a Bush-like evil congress-critter that sends out Armageddon premonitions every time the show's star touches anything he has touched.
There may be more, but since I don't watch much networks tv..these are the only ones I know about..
Will the p[leasant townsfolk of Jericho attack each other or will they get those suplus geiger counters to work? Tune in next week :(

cultivate fear . . . police dramas, kidnappings and missing persons, child abusers, and now nuked American cities . . . this is what Americans are watching every week, every night, day after day after day . . .
no wonder they're afraid . . .
