As a nation, we have failed our children & grandchildren. |

Generally speaking, our lack of action in the face of the neoconazis is unforgivable to be blunt, and a disservice to future generations. I'm not scolding, just observing. It will get much worse though before most folks snap out of it.
I suppose most citizens are still in a state of shock and disbelief at it all, nothing like this has ever happened to America before in modern times, a complete takeover by tyrants right out in plain view big as you please, and it's a bit stunning. We are not exactly sure how to proceed, although many provisions have been made for exactly such a scenario.
I guess its not too late to reverse the curse, but it soon will be.

The impact will be felt for the rest of this century. The 21st century was born the day we invaded Iraq.

WWII veterans, the Enlightenment, the Magna Carta and the ghosts of Mark Twain, Ambrose Bierce and Hunter S. Thompson.
In no particular order...

4. We have failed ourselves if anyone |

Why trip with some other generation, the world's complexity is changing so much every day, that a global generation of 9 billion to be soon born could give a toss whether it is failed.
