A tip to Menendez in his race against Kean...
A lot of voters may be confusing Jr with his father, the former popular Governor of that state. If that be the case, it may do well to remind people Governor Kean was one of the chairs on the 9/11 Commission, along with former Congressman, Lee Hamilton. However, Governor Kean was a paid adviser to the recent controversial ABC movie, The Path to 9/11. He was paid to tell lies about Bill Clinton and the Clinton Administration and to whitewash the first eight months of the Bush Presidency. The "docudrama" went straight from the Clinton years to the buildings falling down. As if nobody was in charge up to that point?

3. A Story to Prove Your Point
It's why the GOP gets away with brand-name political marketing.

When I was in college, I had a friend who came from a prominent political family. She had a number of relatives who had served as mayors, city council representatives and even state senators.

My friend was a chain cigarette smoker who was high on pot about 40 percent of the time. She was an eccentric artist who had come out as a lesbian at a time when it was less socially acceptable to do so. She was hysterically funny and very talented. Her writing pilloried the political structure.

So she ran for city council. Her ads (which ran infrequently due to a miniscule budget) were outrageously funny and offbeat.

She damn near won the office. She came so close it scared everyone in office in that city. She was something like 10 votes shy of winning.

Cher
