You got to hear this one from a replug |
|
On a call in radio show in Chicago WGN we were talking about the VA shortages and how its hurting veterans. A call comes from a replug and admitted he was. Now hear this one. He claimed veterans health care is Welfare for veterans. And he claimed thats why our President list it as intitlement program. We blast him for that comment. But thats not the point. These nut cases believe it. So think about this the troops coming home are now on welfare hmmmmmmm. So much for caring about the troops.

2. So I guess the Repug won't be drawing his pension... |
|
...when he retires. After all, that's just welfare for former workers. The corporations shouldn't have to foot the bill for his useless lazy ass. Think of how much more they could pay to shareholders if they didn't have to support old farts who haven't got the decency to die.

You're exactly right. But they'll never see that logical end point to their argument.

3. I'm in favor of unlimited benefvits for vets, providing that they've |
|
been wounded.
But before you kick my ass for saying that, note that I include PTSD and Gulf War Syndrome in the "wounded" category.
You know, any other country that had over a quarter-million of its soldiers and ex-soldiers get that sick (Gulf War syndrome), there would have been riots in the streets.
But us? We just let them get sick and die, and nobody gives a red rat's ass.

Hubby and I are vets. We get our health care at the VA and have copay for his prescriptions. The costs are getting higher. Either way, if it wasn't for the VA there would be no way we could afford the health care hubby needs. It's not all free. In fact, benefits continue to be cut into. That won't be changing anytime soon given the huge numbers of soldiers coming home with so many problems.
A friend of ours lost his leg some years ago while he was in the army. He'll get full benefits for the rest of his life...well, bush could decide the guy costs too much money and cut him off.

5. Obviously this piece of subhuman feces |

is NOT a vet. I didn't see combat but I put my time in and none of these chickenhawks ever wore a uniform but they sure talk big. I'm getting pretty fed up with these types.

6. Is he suggesting that troops... |
|
who are injured during their service not be taken care of? Is he suggesting that we kick our troops to the curb for their audacity of being shot at and blown up?
I bet he's one of those jackasses who said it was Max Cleland's fault for losing his arm and legs. He probably trashed Kerry's service as well.
My guess is the only time he has ever picked up a gun is for hunting squirrels, but talks like he's got a big dick.
Another thing: He's not a vet and has never put on a uniform.
What a piece of shit :puke:

10. No doubt he also doesn't think Kerry got shot at enough to be a hero & |
|
he also doesn't mind that active duty and reserves have been called up for 3, sometimes 4 tours in Iraq because "thats what they volunteered for".

WGN has gone so rightwing it's impossible to follow which asshole is on at any given time since they all sound the same - except for that absolute BITCH Terry O'Brien. She is an absolute low, worse than Rush if you ask me.

She's the "Bimbonazi" with a valley girl/telephone-sex-worker accent.
Quite a package. Fascism in a valley-speak, pillow-talk voice.
