How To Turn Freepers On Spygate (in SIX EASY STEPS):
Edited on Mon Jan-23-06 09:10 PM by berni_mccoy
1. Call up a Freeper you may know (can be a neighbor, a relative, a "friend", or just an old acquaintance from the GOP who still drinks the kool-aide on *)
2. Bring up a topic that you know gets their blood boiling like, "Clinton actually put terrorists behind bars, like the Oklahoma City Bombers or the NY Trade Center bombers, while OBL is allowed to run free and make continuing threats against the U.S.."
3. Escalate the discussion by saying something like "Clinton contained Saddam and kept Al Qaeda out of Iraq while Bush's lack of planning in the Iraq war has turned Iraq into a training ground for Al Qaeda, and several Generals and Pentagon officials have admitted it"
4. At this point they're going to be really pissed, but if they are like most freepers, they won't be able to hang up.
5. Now ask them what they think should be done with liberals who protest the war in Iraq. They will probably say something very nasty.
6. Once they are done frothing at the mouth, say thank you, the NSA will be analyzing this conversation shortly, then hang up.

This is why Bush is fighting so hard to "claim" what he did is not illegal. Once freepers get their small minds around the issue, the administration is in really deep doodoo.

1. Asking How They Would Feel is If a Dem Was In Power
And how they would feel if the wiretapping was used for spying on right wing political operations.

3. Yeah, I've used that approach before, but the common response these days
is that they'll say there won't be a Dem in power as long as we are at war in the "war on terra".

When they finally say the ugly fascists thoughts that are on their mind, they won't want those spoken words recorded, let alone analyzed by someone at the NSA.

4. Your post just made me think that there may be quite a few right-wing...
people who really don't want the "war on terror" to ever be over because it keeps the Republicans in office. That's probably why they aren't really upset that the B* cabal hasn't captured Osama Bin Laden. :o

I just had a paradigm shift in the way that I look at all of this.
