There is only ONE thing that will stop bush's war. Photographs.
The photographs I'm referring to are never seen, and that censorship is not because we are so squeamish we can't bear to look upon the reality of bush's war, they are never seen because the war would end immediately.

Think I'm kidding? Just imagine if the bush owned media started running actual images from the actual war, which let's face it, we've NEVER seen, how quickly it would all end.

The censorship is deliberate. The horrors are real and the millions of photographs of it do exist. They need to be shown, as this is the only weapon we have to stop this madness, the humble camera.

Someone needs to show the horrific photographs and videos of what bush and his masters are really doing. Someone needs to show America the flag draped coffins, the 20,000 crippled U.S. soldiers, the injuries they've suffered, someone needs to show the horror in the streets of Baghdad on national t.v. Then the horror would truly end.

We don't want to look at what our tax dollars are used for. We don't want to look at dead children, armless children, tortured children, no one does, except war pigs in private.

I am not kidding people, I'm serious as a war here, the photographs would stop this fucking war right in it's tracks.

I've seen some of them. We all have. Abu Ghraib was only the tip of the iceberg. Horrific, nightmarish images of what is really happening can easily be found on the web, but not on television. This is deliberate. This is officially sanctioned censorship of the sickest kind.

SOMEONE NEEDS TO SHOW THE PHOTOGRAPHS AND END THIS GOD DAMNED MADNESS.

Anyway, I know this sound like a ridiculous idea, but I have seen it work. When I was a teenager we'd sit around the dinner table and watch the Vietnam war on our black and white t.v. set and Walter Cronkite would read the horrible news. It went on for years, until one day Walter said it was all wrong and the horror ended soon after.

I remember seeing U.S. soldiers in stretchers in the jungle, shot up, dead and dying every damned night, but now, you'd hardly know there was a war going on if you didn't want to.

THE PHOTOGRAPHS could end this war. Show the dead, the dying, the crippled, the ruined, the shattered, the grief, the pain, the fallen in vain, the used, the exploited, the mothers and fathers, the blood, the awful awful horror that we sanction with our money, and close our eyes to.

SHOW THE GOD DAMNED PHOTOGRAPHS of bush's handiwork and end this obscene insanity now.

You raise a great point, but the only place we still have to get that type of graphic information is the internet. I'm not holding my breath to see it on the corporate controlled media.

4. It didn't happen
unless you have a picture of it.

That's why BushCo has been so careful to make sure the M$M doesn't show people the pictures of what is really going on in Iraq, or dead soldiers or caskets coming home.

5. We've discussed this many times before. It's would be like the
publication of the My Lai massacre pictures, or the picture of the young girl running naked down the dirt road after being sprayed with napalm, or the picture of the Vietnamese colonel putting a bullet into the head of a young Viet Cong fighter.

America lost its stomach for war when faced with what they were supporting.

But there were jounalists out there with ethics and there were mainstream magazines willing to publish the truth. We don't have those media outlets now. And the stupid douchebags that go rah rah rah are the internet savvy ones, they'd get off on the pictures. We need Mr. and Mrs. Average American to have them shoved in their faces.

Not gonna happen.

7. We can find ways to ciculate pictures on the net
Let us post links to pics here and make a pact to circulate them on blogs and forums around the net. I'm sure there are people on here with web pages. Also, viral videos might be able to spread even faster.

9. I see they showed the coffins the other day
Edited on Mon Sep-25-06 05:51 AM by CountAllVotes
I think it was on MSNBC's site. It said it was a 'recent' picture but the source was the thememoryhole.com. It was that old picture from when this "war" began. Same one alright.

And yet they said it was "recent".

Here is a different one, but nothing is "new" about it.

Truth NOW. 86 all of the liars including the press that is feeding this to the American public like pablum is fed to a baby.

19. This is why they wanted to control the embedded media assignments.

It is one thing for them to spin and deny "he said she said" but actual photo images are very hard for them to spin.

20. Agree....
If Americans could actually see what we are doing in Iraq, the war would be over in a couple of weeks.

They know that, and that's why they control the images.

The spoiled rich children of the purveyors of this war actually don the uniform and go into combat with the stop-loss troops, the 4th redeployed and such who serve so that the Bush twins don't have to.
so that cheny's relatives don't have to, so that chicken shit Santorum's kids will never have to, where are all the medals for meritotious service in iraq on the projeny of Rupert Murdock?, bill numb-nuts oreilley, Slant-head hannity?

Let the public see what * thinks are the "tools" necessary to protect our families.

If the Lyndie England pics upset folks, what would they make of the boys' screams?

Would America be proud to send their sons and daughters off to die or be maimed so the sick bastards can torture with impunity?

27. There are pictures of the Iraq War on the internet that should
make any human being with the slightest bit of decency cringe. They are available only if you look for them unfortunately. They should be in the faces of everyone who still supports this war at this point. We are not going to stop any terrorism with that type of stuff happening. If anything, it is going to escalate with the Iraq War.

30. I have a whole CD of stuff that my brother brought back from Iraq...
Gruesome, disgusting stuff. Bodies flattened by tanks, burnt corpses, rotting limbs lying in the streets, etc. I haven't showed them to anyone, because they are so disturbing, but you make a good point. If I could find a media outlet to print them, I'd be willing to provide them.

Anyone have an update on the website operator?

32. 'Fallujah: The Hidden Massacre'
http://www.jonhs.net/911/iraq/fallujah_hidden_massacre.htm

It's a half hour long film which graphically details the civilian carnage in Fallujah and the physical results of white phosphorus attacks.

Yes, you have to have a strong stomach. Bush's 'comma' is shown with unflinching honesty.

these before. I had never seen the first video about the torture that Bush ordered. We can send mass emails. I know it would not be as great as on the nightly news but I'm not holding my breath for that to happen anytime soon.

I posted third-hand pictures last year (other poster's brother brought back pictures from his unit) and it was pretty fucking horrific. I only saved one though, and it's 45 minutes away at the moment.
