WE hear that offered as a rebuttal to a growing realization that WE will fail. If you accept that we cannot fail as being true; then the question must be, who has placed US in this position where we cannot win, nor dare not lose.
Bush and his regime was give carte blanche to engage this country in a “futile” effort in Iraq. “Futile” is the applicable word for continuing a particular course of action that has no hope of achieve its stated goal. It did not take much deep thinking to know that the Iraq war would end in futility. To my memory prior to the war there was a loud chorus of voices raised warning against that course of action.
Today, those voices find themselves being challenged by, “if we fail in Iraq.” The answer to that challenge is change in political leadership, starting with Congress this fall. The only way to find a way out of this lose-lose situation will be through new thinking and the current political leadership is incapable or unwilling to even entertain an idea of strategic change.

1. News Flash: We have already FAILED in Iraq. |
|
The only question is when we will fully realize this FACT and pull our troops out of this hell hole. No, staying will only increase the carnage. Extract our troops and let them work it out for themselves. We have NO RIGHT to run a sovereign country. :(

3. We have already failed in Iraq |

Iraq, is a quagmire, just like Vietnam. The bu$h regime did not address the situation correctly when they attacked the sovereign nation and they lied continuously as they still do and the situation is so out of control there is no way to return order in Iraq. For the US to continue in Iraq simply flues the terrorist activity giving them reason to attack us HERE!

4. Democrats have to call Iraq a "failed Republican war of choice." |
|
The Democrats are not obligated to continue staying a disastrous course set by Republicans.
Who failed in Iraq? The Republicans did -- not America, not the Democrats. The Republicans failed even when they were told not to go in there. The Republicans failed even when they were told it was a distraction from catching bin Laden and winning the so-called War on Terror.
Miserable failure, thy name is Republicans.

I am not a part of this Iraq fuckup. I didn't vote for it, or for the people who started this war. I don't support it at all. It's their war, not mine. There is no "we" on this issue for me.
