Torture IS Terrorism-
that is my own personal talking point.
And that is what I'm telling my Senators/Reps-

When we use threats, intimidation, pain, fear and violent inhumane treatment against other human beings to 'get what we want/need'- WE have become the beast we accuse our enemies of being.

And WE deserve all the consequences that will befall us.

Shame on the US for even contemplating this- we are the worlds biggest hypocrites.

Contact your Senators and Reps- even if it seems futile-
We cannot let this happen. "Legally sanctioned terrorism" -

I cannot believe this is a 'choice'-

1. that statement is very effective...

I think it could be a bumper sticker.

Torture is Terrorism.

White on black.

I was thinking of doing some freeway blogging. I was going with 'We Torture' and then a cross and a flag.

This might be better.

4. I've always wanted
to 'freeway blog'-

Unfortunately living in such a rural area, and my beat-up old car make putting up anything difficult-
Even signs put up to honor one of our kids who died in Iraq, was not tolerated.

Making people do things because they fear for thier life, or the lives of thier loved ones, is EXACTLY what this administration calls terrorism.

And they took the children of Kalid Shiek Mohamed, who I believe were 6 and ...?..9... kidnapped them, and brought them to the US and told him if he didn't talk they would pay- not to mention the physical things I understand he went through. (regardless of what kind of man he may be, WE know better- WE are supposed to have 'morals' and 'values' that would keep us from doing something so dispicible)

And WE are 'sposed to be the 'good guys'?
I HATE 'US'- if indeed this IS what we have become-

Thanks for the feedback- and good luck with your blogging!

5. I can't
believe we have come to this-.... I mean to be so "OUT" with the concept.
I sincerly thought the people I share this nation with had ...scruples.... that would never permit this to even be an option that we publicly support this.-(wish I could also say clandestinly as well, but I've lived too long to be that innocent)

America, you had such great dreams, such lofty ideals- and look at you now.

To borrow a line from the movie "Hook"- (a take off of Peter Pan-)

"We need a mother, very, very badly"-

thanks Leftchick-

6. I so
agree. And I am incredibly frustrated, furious, and distressed to think that 'we' will sanction this, as a 'nation'.

I sure do wonder DYEW, where we went so very wrong.

They intimidate us as well as the world with their tactics.

If we let them.
