CNN's "Situation Room" did their "Liberal Monday" and it was GOOD! |
|
Richard BenViniste REVEALED...that Bush/Cheney didn't recognize the "Cole Incident" as important.
Blitzer asked: "Why was this not included in the 9/11 Report?" BenViniste replied that he was "outvoted!"
Plus there was other good Dem Stuff...too much for me to report here.)I have to post "on the fly." Let me just say that it was GREAT TO SEE...CNN use REPUG TALKING POINTS as MINOR...while giving BIG COVERAGE to DEM TALKING POINTS. It was a "REVERSE" of what we are all used to!
That POLLING for DEMS taking over House and Senate must be looking bad "internally" for CNN/Blitzer to go LEFT for one night!

3. I was just thinking that today the momentum seemed to shift back |
|

toward the Dems.
During the 9/11 anniversary and all of Bush's little pep talk speeches, the momentum had shifted toward the Republicans.
It has shifted back, thank goodness! The Republicans are back on the defensive.
:woohoo:
edit to add - and on Hardball, Larry Sabato essential said that he has personally heard George Allen use the "n" word. He is toast!

5. Intel report + dissenting generals reflect anti Iran war drift |
|
before the elections. Makes it seem that there is substantial opposition to war with Iran. Apparently, the resistance is coming from the Army. They are rightfully concerned about the advserse consequences to spreading the area of mideast conflagration.
Does anyone know of dissent or criticism coming from Navy or Airforce?
The internal machinations of the Army remind me of the unsuccessful resistance to Hitler's planned invasions in the thirties by the High Command.

6. I don't have faith that's it's more than a One Liberal Night Wonder....but |
|
it was good too see...and a great example of how "Media" can cherrypick spin from one side or the other but for over a decade they've chosen Rove's Talking Points over Dems.
Tonight was RARE...but it was good..IMHO...from someone whose been watching them.
It's a "One Night Wonder" but it's good to savor...
