Every time Chimpy does this...
It makes me wanna scream.

Is that little pose supposed to mean that he's making a point or something? He does it about 50 times per speech.

1. I hope to someday see his feet slip out from under him and watch him
eat the podium.

Snake oil salesman "sealing the deal".

2. it's podium speak for "I'm sharing"
move in a little closer, let's share this moment - this thought - this idea...supposed to translate into intimacy with the listening audience. ...it's "leaning in" to your audience

Makes me sick when he does it....

like seeing vomit coming at you in 3-D.

9. Hence the nickname smirk.
He is posing comparable to Hitler when he did his wild eyed stare to the sky and moved his hands in a chopping motion. Hitler was trying to emphasize his words during a screaming fit, Bush is trying to intimidate, he does not have enough passion to to scream out his hatred and disdain.

That is the frat boy arrogant school yard bully look.

16. It is infuriating
He's literally "talking down" to people. Lowering himself, if you will. He's resentful of having to suit up and hit his marks, even for a fake Q&A session.

"I'm such an exalted personage, occupying a position of such lofty heights, I can barely hear the trivial yammerings of you little folk from way up here without leaning over."

To me, this pose conveys boredom and barely concealed contempt.
