18. Didn't support Kerry. |
|
Stated that Kerry was his choice but spent the campaign season slamming Kerry and every opportunity and letting his rightwing stooges regurgitate every republican talking point.

5. Some facts are absolutely inescapable. I mean, it's the old 'if it walks |

like a duck' dictum. And denial just makes you look stupid (like your average republican bush** supporter).

6. I watch him a couple times a month |
|
if that often. But he does say some pretty nasty things about Bush. Even the idiot Bernie is really REALLY against the Iraq war and says some pretty bad things about the whole mess.
I don't really like Imus, but I like to watch him sometimes because he is so damn grumpy it can be funny. The only person I know of that is grumpier than me in the morning.

He's a fuckwad. After the election he said that now that bush had a mandate that we have to support him. Since then, he's been drinking the kool-aid.

13. Imus did support Kerry. |
|
He criticized him quite a bit during the campaign, but usually when he felt Kerry had snubbed him in some way. Imus is seriously egocentric, but he has done and continues to do much charity work for good causes. He has never liked *2, but has always liked *1, and does not support the war. He has a variety of guests and will hold them to task if he doesn't swallow some of the bull they pass on. He isn't always well-informed, and so lets some of his guests spew quite a bit of lies at times. If he can be convinced about an issue, he can be quite a bull-dog in pursuing the truth, and thus a potential ally. I've sent him articles, etc. before, but I don't know if anyone shares them with him or even reads them for that matter. I watch him in the morning because he wakes me up with his grouchy, sarcastic demeanor. The show can be disgusting to pretty damn funny. You have to take him and his crew with a grain of salt.

who needs enemies? Imus 'supported' Kerry but spent the entire campaign slamming him and letting his rightwing sidekicks mouth every single rightwing smear and talking point. It was shameful and transparent. F*ck Imus.

14. Several months ago Mr. Imus visited Walter Reed Hospital |
|
and has never been the same. He has been very critical of * since then and has advocated for several veterans issues. It seemed to be a life changing experience for him. He said he wakes up at night thinking about those young men and women. I think we should require all Senators and Congress members go visit the hospital too. Maybe then they would refuse to further fund this atrocious war!
