Daddy Bush on Spying on Americans - only violating civil rights a little..
Oh yeah, and here's what Daddy Bush had to say about syping on Americans without a court order:

Well this may surprise you, but I support the president, because you know, we -- we've gotten -- we've gotten a little forgetful, Larry about 9/11. And I think if one call is intercepted that can guarantee against another such plot or make another such plot fail, it's worth it.

And he spelled out what they're trying to do in listening and it's not like they're invading everybody's homes, some guy in Des Moines talking to somebody in Reno. That's not what this is all about, so I'm supportive, and I think a lot of people say, "Well, you're pounding or impugning our civil rights. You're not giving -- you're invading our privacy."

It's a very narrow band that's being used, and I think the president's pretty darn clear on it. And fortunately, the country seems to be backing on him from what I've seen.

We're only violating your civil rights a little...

:) the effing bushes are raping us and our civil liberties and have the cojones to say they are just doing it,"a little". "O, I just broke the hymen of your trust-ability...but just a little" they say. Like saying to us, "I don't give a damn if you are bleeding, i am going to efff you until i get what i want."

o yeah, like we are all going to say, "Long Live the Bushes. Perish the Constitution, I want more. I want more. O,God give me more Bushes". LIke they have a chance in hell that we are going to say that--although some stupid people are.

2. Uh huh... that's like being a "little bit pregnant" you are or you aren't.
Bush has admited to illegally spying, without a warrant, on American citizens in this country. Just because he thinks he has the right doesn't mean he does... the Constitution that he swore to defend and uphold clearly says very differently.

4. It's about dictatorship.
Team Bush believes it rules by Divine right.
It has already re-defined "terrorist" to mean anyone who questions its power.
It will use "anti-terrorist" wiretapping as a tool against anyone who dares oppose it.

So ask yourself: if granted the power to torture, do you trust the Bush
Administration---or any regime- - to refrain from torturing its political opponents?
If granted the power to record private phone conversations, do you trust Karl Rove
to not use this material against his political opponents?

If Bush gets away with this, then it's simple: if you are too outspoken in opposing
this regime's destruction of social security, or the natural environment, or the
economy, you will sooner or later be subject to torture.
