Dems should have said "this far and no further" a long time ago

but since they have not they should be saying it NOW regarding Alito.
Many of us here are saying it but I want, I NEED to hear those in
government that "represent" me say it.

To any and all senators and congress people that might read D.U. from
time to time: Please stop this nomination. Please put the good of the
country FIRST.

...THE country? There IS THEIR country, OUR country--and THE country. Each side--THEIRS and OURS--may be perceived by it's adherents as THE country--but that may not necessarily be true. (And that is without making a value judgement; it is neither bad nor good for people to think that the way they see things IS the way things ARE-as long as they acknowledge that may NOT be reality.)
