1. Ose just lied to the American People!
Edited on Fri Sep-29-06 08:42 PM by Godlesscommieprevert
Light your hair on fire, wet your chords with tea! A Republican just lied on National Television!

Fire up the pitchforks and set your non-genetically modified peanut oil for BURN!

At 4:05 he said that he didn't interrupt Charlie Brown

At 2:48 and 3:37 in the clip he interrupted Charlie Brown

Oh man, what an unfortunate name for a politician.. Anyway, Dems needs to have some sort of Baseball Umpire Clicker in their pockets when they go on these things, so a few minutes in when the Republican tries to stop the Dem from speaking by claiming they didn't interrupt, the Dem will have an accurate count of how many times the pubbie interrupted. They do it all the time, I don't know why this it's so difficult to come up with counter-measures for these tactics.

I didn't interrupt you | err yes you did, in fact you interrupted me 14 times in the last 2 minutes Mr. Hannity.

It's not hard.

2. Doug Ose, never was the sharpest tool in the Congressional shed
In December 2003, Ose introduced a bill (H.R. 3687) to outlaw the broadcast of George Carlin's seven "dirty words," including "compound use (including hyphenated compounds) of such words and phrases with each other or with other words or phrases, and other grammatical forms of such words and phrases (including verb, adjective, gerund, participle, and infinitive forms)."

This Bill received criticism from some conservatives because one of the banned words, "piss", is used in the King James Bible and there was concern that Christian radio stations would be fined for reading Bible verses.

3. Thanks for posting this.
I'm in Doolittle's district & don't watch local news.

Too bad Doolittle didn't defend himself in person, but I'm not surprised. Charlie Brown challenged Doolittle to a series of debates and Doolittle agreed, but in the long run, he appears to have chickened out.

All I know is that this county is the most conservative county in all of California and you would not believe how many Charlie Brown signs are showing up on peoples' lawns. Never seen anything like it.
